Here are our booking conditions, together with some useful information about your stay. Please contact us if you have a question or wish to make a booking.
Weekly bookings normally run from Fiday / Saturday to Fiday / Saturday, from 3.00 pm on the day of arrival until 10.00 am on the day of departure but we are flexible with the arrival day if we can accommodate.
Short breaks are available (minimum 3 nights), excluding Christmas and New Year. Please ask and we will try to accommodate you. Please note towels are not provided for short breaks.
To make a booking, we require a non-refundable deposit of £150 per week. The balance of the payment is required 6 weeks prior to arrival (10 weeks for Christmas and New Year bookings) a reminder will be sent. If the booking is made 6/10 weeks before the arrival date, we will require full payment immediately which is non-refundable.
In the event of cancellation (or non payment) by the hirer within six / ten weeks of the date of arrival, the final balance of payment remains due, any other monies paid previously are non refundable. We advise that you take out holiday cancellation insurance.
If we are able to re-book the cancelled dates the monies will be returned excluding an administration fee of £50.
Should you need to cancel your booking, you should inform us as soon as possible in writing.
Lynton may only be occupied by those guests listed on the booking form and must not exceed the maximum number stated.
Lynton does not accept bookings of single sex groups for hen or stag celebrations or similar occasions.
For safety reasons and the comfort of other guests, we have adopted a no smoking policy in the House.
Visitors are welcome by arrangement, but are not permitted to stay overnight. They must adhere to the terms and conditions of the property. We cannot accept responsibility whatsoever for their safety, well-being or possessions. Guests shall be held responsible for their visitors' actions. We request that visitors leave no later than 11.00 pm.
Lynton will be fully cleaned prior to arrival. Beds will be made up and clean towels (1) will be available for guests. Please leave the property in a similar condition at the end of your stay. Additional charges may be made for extra cleaning should the property require it.
We request that guests respect the property, its fixtures and fittings and its contents. Any breakages, damages or stains must be reported as soon as possible.
We cannot under any circumstances accept responsibility for loss or damage to the possessions of guests, their cars including contents, or for any personal injury.
Should the terms and conditions be in any way breached, confirmed or otherwise, the owner reserves the right to enter the property and / or terminate the contract without prejudice.
In the unlikely event that we are unable to provide the accommodation or facilities as stated, liability is restricted to the return of monies paid only.
We reserve the right to make changes to the property, including any relevant enhancements to décor, furniture, fixtures and fittings, etc. We endeavor to ensure that all changes are in keeping with the style of the property. We shall not be liable for any such alterations to the property.
'Owners' refers to the proprietors of Lynton. 'Guests' refers to all persons listed on the booking form. 'Visitors' refers to any persons visiting guests at Lynton.
